I just received a system update on my turbo phone, now I'm having issues with it. Everything is super slow. Games, FB, messages, and it's dropping calls. Anyone else having problems with the update?

You can also plug it in to a computer and do the software repair assistant. It will ask if you want to backup your data and will restore it after it reinstalls. Repair Assistant - Software Upgrade Assistant (Motorola) | Verizon Wireless

Have you tried a system cache clear through the recovery menu?

Lilleyjo,
Updates shouldn't harm your phone, they should make it better. When after the update installed did you start having trouble? Are all of your apps up to date in the Play Store http://vz.to/1q0D44z?

I haven't had a chance to do the factory reset, until now, which I will try. The problems started immediately after the update. Will the factory reset discard photos, games, or anything else that I've added since I bought the phone? If not, I will do the reset today and let you know if it fixes the problems.

Yes, you must back up your data or it will be lost during FDR.

Lilleyjo, I want to make sure that your phone is working properly. Before you do the hard reset, have you downloaded any new applications? What is your zip code?

I downloaded 3 new apps: Shelf life, Food Network, and In Season. Should I delete them?

It can't hurt to try that first before factory resetting the phone.
