It looks like KitKat 4.4 could be coming to Soak testers Soon if it does and the Test are Good might see some Kitkat 4.4 on X by Christmas Or shortly there after.

Well to add what i posted it seems that KitKat the update not candy bar 
will be on Moto X according to the info that i just found in about 3 week's if that hold true that is pretty fast for Moto fans

Yes. It helps a whole lot when the OEM has some say. I can only hope they'll have more say in the future. 
I read an article stating that HTC was the best when it comes to pushing out updates.
Of course that article was written years ago. 
P.S. I live in the northeast. So tornados are rare here. But i did see those weather reports and yes it's sad. My hopes and prayers go out to those affected in the u.s. and abroad.
