emmacarey11, Sorry to hear that your device has been locked out. To be able to reset the device you would need to perform a factory reset. 1. You could take it to a Verizon store and see it a tech there can unlock it.
2. Go into recovery mode and do a factory data reset (you'll have to setup your device from scratch after that)
