Moto Z 4 installation update April 17, 2020 - app screen background is white

This last update changed my app screen background to white.  This means I cannot see my icons at the top of my screen or at the bottom of my screen.  What the heck?  Who had this brilliant idea?  At least automatically change my icon colors so I can see them.  ughh

Thank you for getting in touch with us about this.  To go back to the Dark Background:

1. Go to Settings > Display.
2. Touch Advanced > Device theme.
3. Choose Light or Dark.

Mine is the opposite problem. My search screen shows up in dark theme. I have changed it back to light in Google and Chrome settings and it doesn't care...still dark. Got tired of rebooting and restarting and went back to DuckGo. I don't like their search engine but at least I can read it. #MotoZForce2 #Light theme
