I have a bunch of similar screenshots. Battery might last 3 or 4 hours if I'm not using the phone too heavily, but recently, even if it's at 70% it suddenly shuts off and says the battery is at zero, and you can't restart it unless you plug it in. It's just like having a landline! Phone only works when plugged in, and, moronically, it's manufactured without a replaceable battery. Very expensive hunk of junk.

Husband and I have the same problems! God forbid you take a photo! I have been trying to upgrade and Verizon has become the biggest nightmare I have ever had. Worst customer service ever!

Having device issues is never ideal, DoneWithMotorola. I am happy to assist. When your phone shuts down, are you using a specific application? Also, is there any physical damage to the device? Lastly, when you go to restart the device when it's not plugged in, which restart method are you using?

I have had the same issues. The camera has been updated and now there is no focus otherthan auto.
I completed all the diagnostics recomended by Verizon including the factory re-set and starting it in "Safe Mode". No app problems drainning the battery.
The phone now lasts 10 - 12 hours with light use. I will be dumping the phone and getting a new one in 2020. Not a Motorola.

This is not a Verizon problem. It's either due to a problem with the phone or an Android/Google problem.

Yes, the device a Moto Z Force has the latest update which I beive and the Community that the issues relates to the 8.0 Oreo Motorola latest update.
My camera was just sent a Moto Camera update which I installed several days ago. I can not see any improvements. It stated is was for stability and security. You can zoom in, but you loose the focus of the picture. I am switching back to an old traditional camera with a SD card and forgetting my phones camera.
The battery life has remained the same since my last post. I am very dissapointed in this phone, as it it only 19 months old. My wifes I-Phone 10 out performs it hands down. Before the last update the Moto Z Force was one of the best on the market.
Not Now.

I appreciate all the details provided and know how crucial it is to ensure you have a reliable working phone. Are you using the original charger that came with your phone or a third-party charger? When did you update the software on your phone? Is there any physical or water damage to your device?
