Moto Z3 what's this thing in the box?

Maybe this will be the dumb question of the day, but what is purpose of the black rubber 2-1/2" strap with loops on the ends that came with my phone? Nothing I can find mentioned in the manual or on the website. The QR code and Google images is no help, and all in all the unboxing vids on YouTube they ignore it.  I'm assuming it's some kind of cord leash, but it doesn't make sense why I would need to attach the headphone jack to the USB-C cord.

Can you please post a picture of this item?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Sure. I would have done this in the OP, but didn't see the upload icon.

You can use it to attach the headphone dongle to your headphones, i.e.,

Thanks, that's what I suspected. Just doesn't seem to have a lot of value since the USB and aux jacks make a secure connection.

It's what I'd call a leash ... it's a way to keep the dongle and headphones together (like when in a bag) so that you don't lose the dongle.
