After spending more than $1400 on a new HandsFreeLink (HFL) Bluetooth module for my 2006 Acura RL, I discovered (too late) that the reason our Motorola Droid Turbo 2 phones would not stay paired is THE RESULT of the Kinzie software update. I have also learned that this update cannot be reversed. Fortunately, I had an older Droid Turbo phone (using Quark software) I could switch my wife's number to, and the pairing problem was solved. I asked Verizon about getting this bug fixed and was told it's not their problem, that Android must provide the fix.
This bug seems to affect only the Acura Bluetooth HFL identified in the phone as "HandsFreeLink TM" and does not seem to be problematic for later HFL versions.
Dear Android - PLEASE get this bug fixed and sent to your Motorola Droid Turbo 2 customers ASAP !
