My OTA update is failing. The update installs to about 20% then I get the Andy on his back with a red exclamation triangle. The local store did a factory resets and no change. On the Motorola Mobility forum the admin says this indicates I moded my phone which I have not. How do I fix this?

Every time my XT912 Maxx updated I wound up having to get a replacement.

If you havent resolved your issue yet I strongly advise speaking to an online chat or on phone rep if you are within the first year warranty. This would constitute a replacement of same model. I believe the warranty continues in the same manner with asurion or extended warranty paid monthly.

Sorry for the late reply. My issue has not been resolved and I am not within the first year of contract. I am however paying for the basic extended warranty.
