My phone and bluetooth worked fine before the latest update , The phone see it and it looks like it did before but there is NO sound for my bluetooth?
Try a factory reset and re-pair the BT device. Maybe that will help?
Didn't want to do the factory re set as i will loose everything . Did clean the Cache and re set the phone, un paired the tooth and re paired many times . Even had motorolla try to help , The answer they gave was it is an old BT and not compatible with the new software . My answer was it worked FINE before the update . Still wont work, I tried a Newer bluetooth that I HATE and it works fine. I just think they are trying to get me to buy a new one which i think is WRONG. So frustrated with both Verizon and Motorola. Been loyal since 1995 ,, It is so wrong
@Pepelpew,
Bluetooth is definitely a life saver especially when driving so I definitely understand the importance of it working properly.
I understand that the hard reset http://vz.to/1bdBvnV can be inconvenient but a necessary step. You mentioned all the troubleshooting step taken and all that is let to do is the hard reset.
If the Bluetooth still does not connect after the hard reset the issue may be with the Bluetooth device, especially since you were able to connect using a different Bluetooth.
Keep me posted if you need further assistance.

My Razr Maxx BT quit working with my car after the upgrade also. I am able to connect the older model phones like the LG EnV 3 to the car with no issues. The updates that are pushed to the phone render the BT useless on some vehicles. I have given up ever being able hands free in my vehicle again. The older the car gets, the more that the phone engineering is updated the further away you are from using BT in your vehicle. Until the engineers at Motorola figure out a way to keep this working with older vehicles (don't hold your breath) you may never have that again. Check your vehicle manufacturer website for compatible phones, in my case, if I go back to the dinosaur phone I would have hands free again. And by the way, a hard re-set probably would not work. It did not work for me.
