Not receiving tango notifications...if I do, they are delayed.

Why am I not receiving Tango notifications on my Moto X.  When I open the application, it says that I missed a call or the chat head pops up...hours later after a call.  Why is there notification on the home screen/toolbar of this?

It actually doesn't show a notification (T) on the active display or toolbar.  If I hadn't actually gotten into the application would I have known I missed an attempted call.  This has been happening repeatedly for the last few days.

I'm sorry you are receiving that pop up message Honeybrown1. Have you reviewed all your apps and made sure it wasn't downloaded to your phone in error. If so,  you can uninstall it and remove it.
