It will be updated one day to a version of Lollipop.  No one knows when or what version.

Yes it's being soak tested by Motorola. Verizon hasn't tested it yet because Motorola isn't done with it. When they finish the soak test then it will be submitted to Verizon for certification and if it passed then it will be pushed out. If not then it's sent back to Motorola for fixing.

No, the Turbo won't be getting 5.0 at all.  It is widely published on many sites, such as Techtimes that the Turbo will get 5.1.  Just seems like that is taking forever.

That's a rumor being passed around without any hard evidence proving it. Also the 5.0 soak test is still ongoing.

How do you know that there is a soak test going on?  Just curious.  I have seen rumors of that also, dating back to January, but no hard evidence yet.  Usually once the soak test is complete, the software is released.  I have also heard that the Turbo will go straight to 5.1, but again, all speculation.

I know of people taking the soak test. Go to their website and register your Turbo. In there there is an option for soak testing. If they do another there is a chance you might enter in that one. The current one is closed for new entry.

I dont believe it is still in soak testing by Motorola.
Follow the link bellow select the carrier and phone if need be but it states the following:

" This device will be upgraded to the Android 5 Lollipop release of Android, pending partner support."

Which means Verizon has its hands on it.

Where do you get the Idea Verizon has their hands on it? Pending partner support means that if Verizon wants the phone updated it will be is all.

If you say so... The emails are out and people are testing the update for the past 2 weeks or so. At this point it isn't submitted by Motorola own time line they gave out over a year ago.

I got the email for the soak testing but I no longer have a Turbo (coworker broke his phone and it was given out as a company loaner). 2 of my coworkers are currently doing it. Feels and looks almost no different than the Moto X (which I do still have).

wanted to add that message has been there since before Lollipop was ever released from Google.

Lollipop was not soak tested by Motorola.  I was part of the soak test and it was just an update to VoLTE, which in my opinion works much better now.

Yes it is.  I have coworkers that are testing it as we speak.  There's always more than 1 build going around when it comes to software development.    I did soak test the same update as you did.  I am honestly glad I didn't get the lollipop testing.
