Online Text Verizon Wireless will not send my 4 MB mp3 file

Simply trying to text a 4MB mp3 file through Verizon online texting (Message+ MMS).  Gets stuck as "Sending:

Could be it's too large or maybe if protected can't be sent.

Discord, Skype, Telegram, cloud services etc. There are many different ways to send files. Since anything beyond text only uses data, why not send with a data application instead?
