Phone not showing up in Google Play

My phone is not showing up in the google play store when I access from the web.  My (no carrier) tablet is showing there, but not the phone.  I can access the google play store directly from the phone but I used to be able to just click install from a web browser and get it to work.  I've also recently been having intermittent sync with Gmail, calendar, and keep so I suspect these problems could be related.

Thanks!

John

Go into settings

Applications(app, or app manager)

Look for play store

Clear the data and cache

Back out open the play store

Accept T&C

Find a random free app

Download it

Then open it

Uninstall it

Them check the Web. Give it about 5 minutes if it doesn't show and check again. If it doesn't contact Google.

Perhaps remove the Google account from the phone, then reboot and re-add the google account.

Thanks, have you found up to date instructions on how to do that in the current OS?  I had tried to do that before but all I could find was the mechanism to delete my google account completely (like delete all my data off their servers) which I definitely don't want to do.

Thanks!

Remove a Gmail Account - DROID TURBO by Motorola

[Device-Specific Instructions]

Removing then re-adding your Gmail account often fixes login / not receiving email issues.

From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon Apps icon > Settings Settings icon.

From the Personal section, tap Accounts.

Tap Google.

Tap the appropriate account.

Tap the Menu icon Menu (located in the upper-right).

Tap Remove account.

From the 'Remove account?' prompt, tap Remove account.

Thanks, I've tried that repeatedly but "remove account" isn't presented as an option, just "Sync Now"  See attached screen shot.

Thanks!

You must tap on the account.  You aren't going far enough in the process.

Thanks, you're right--finally found that, uninstalled.  Reinstalled, and still not showing up in the Play store 😞  Maybe that will fix ths sync problems, though.

Thanks for your help!
