Hi All - I just upgraded from the Motorola RAZR M to the Moto X. It's awesome but I was wondering if there is a way to disable 4G LTE and just use 3G (for battery saving purposes)? There was hack that I used on the RAZR M to get to the programming menu but I can't find anything like it with the Moto X. I also looked for Android apps that would be able to do this but also looks like it doesn't work for Moto X. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks so much in advance.

The app "LTE OnOff - HTC Thunderbolt seems to be working great for me.

Once you open the app, scroll down and right above all of the buttons at the bottom, there is a select box to set your preferred network type. Select CDMA auto (PRL).

Thanks, wake83!
I did look at some of the apps to disable 4G but the only one I saw didn't work on Moto X and I guess the title of this one (including "HTC Thunderbolt") made me think it wouldn't work on the Moto X either.
Works like a dream. Thanks so much
