Random letters on lock screen

This is a stupid issues, but bugging the heck out of me. On my lock screen, under the time and date, there is a series on letters ex: Ll;dllllll**lllllcccccclllll. I don't know how to remove them. Once I unlock the screen, I don't see them anymore. I have looked under all the settings etc but no luck. Any suggestions?

Check to see if you have anything entered in the "Owner Info" field.

It is under settings/security/Owner Info.

Anything here will show up on the lock screen.

Maybe some random junk go in there.

That is a mystery, smorgan1964. But it's a good thing I love finding solutions! Actually, JJH was right on target. Go to Settings > Security & Screen Lock > Owner Info. There's a check box to "Show owner info on lock screen". Whatever you type in this Owner Info will appear in tiny letters under the date and time when it's locked if that box is checked.
