We understand your concern to have your messages delivered. This message could be due to the recipeint being unable to receive the message, or their service is not available. Does this message appears with all messages sent? Do you have a prepaid or postpaid account?

I would be asking the same question, trockmom. I'm sorry to learn of any confusion with this message you're receiving, and I'm eager to assist you. The message you're receiving seems to be letting you know that a message you sent to someone else did not go through. However, let's gather some information, to make sure we're covering all our bases. Are you able to send and receive messages with no problem? When did this begin? Please share some additional details for me, thank you.

ejmack, we want to make sure we get to the bottom of this for you. Can you tell me what steps you've taken thus far to help with this? Have you tried to power the device off and back on? ChetonJ_VZW

Same. Started this morning, coming from my own number (but not showing as sent from my phone). I don't have any blocked numbers. Note 10+. The only thing I did this morning was install the latest security update.

Momof3handsomeboys That information is extremely helpful, and we want to learn more about the situation. The error message "Recipient has insufficient funds to receive the message." does not affect your plan or your usage, but we want to investigate more. Are you receiving multiple messages with the same information? Did you and your husband receive the message at the same time? Share details.

If this helps Verizon at all:
-I also get this message, starting on 10/26/2019
-I have had to blocked many spam numbers over a few years, but more recently (this year) I blocked numbers close to my own, as in the first 6 digits are the same.
-My mom, dad, and I all have Verizon service. My mom and I are on the same plan, but my dad has his own plan.
-All of us get spam calls close to our own numbers.
-I am the only one so far to receive this message from my own number.
- I have blocked a few numbers about a month ago that were all in a group chat and had numbers similar to mine. I don't have the numbers specifically since I deleted the group message.
-I haven't received this message anymore (yet) since the 26th.

Hello there, JCapps526! We certainly understand your frustration, and we have all been victims of these calls at one point or another however we have great news for you! We now offer a great new feature called Call Filter, which provides spam alerting, spam filter, blocking tools, and the option to report numbers. We are including a link that will give you more information, and also the option to add it directly from your phone. http://spr.ly/66051JZhh

Same issue. My husband has received two and me one. We both got one at the same time today and he received on early yesterday morning. We haven't recently blocked anyone. We are not pre-paid. We have unlimited everything. I did call in and speak to a rep today and all I got was, it's most likely from a blocked number, which doesn't make any sense! The chances my husband I both have the same number blocked is pretty slim and there aren't any numbers blocked on our account. This issues either has to do with pictures messages or group texts. That seems to be the only time we receive them and it is from a non apple user. C'mon Verizon, this seems to be a common problem, FIX IT.

To add: there are four numbers on our plan only two have received these messages. I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. It seems to be a glitch in the system after the IOS most recent update.

Searched online and found this. Just started happening to me. Hundreds of messages now. All say the same thing. Every time it says it is from my own number. Feels like being hacked. Get out now! The call is coming from inside your phone!

It's worrying to see that you continue receiving these inconvenient messages, and we are here to help. After conducting some research, we would like to ask you to please power off your device for 2 minutes and power it back on. This process should help you stop these messages.

It still doesn't explain why they're happening.
