Motorola droid. My screen goes black while I am on a call and I cannot use other functions?

Does pressing the power button briefing not turn on the screen?

No, I tried that a couple times and just loose the call.

In that case, change your dialer settings to not have the power button end the call.
You should also check your proximity sensor to verify it isn't covered or blocked.

OK, I went to dialer and settings but could not see how to do this. Then I went to general settings and again could not find a way to control the power button???

I don't have my Motorola phone in front of me, but i think it might also be hiding in the Accessibility settings if it isn't in the phone app settings.
