This is a known problem as I am finding out.
We purchased 3 Droid Turbo 2s last fall. Within a month, two had green lines the length of the screen. After experiencing the worst customer service of my life from Motorola, I went to Verizon who issued replacements.
Now we are replacing one of the replacement phones with a new one because of the same problem. 5 phones so far and 3 have failed. Not good. Next month, we will probably be doing it again...ugh.

Try a factory reset and see if it goes away. If not, return it.

Returned unit, local Go Verizon store rep stated something wrong with hardware that displays screen. Not sure he knew what he was talking about.

I am currently on my 2nd Droid Turbo 2. I returned my first one after about 7 days. A bright green line appeared on the right side of the screen and did not go away regardless of what app I was using.
Verizon rep gladly accepted returned phone and said it was probably "just a manufacturing defect and not to worry." I have had my 2nd phone for about 5 weeks and I now have a solid green line in the exact same position.
I have read in other forums where a user noted that the green line would disappear when you press somewhat firmly near the Verizon Check Mark on the bottom of the phone. This does work. However, as soon as you release pressure the green line returns.
Like many others on here, I have been a loyal Verizon customer for many years and I was excited when the "Shatterproof Droid Turbo 2" was released. After reading all of the complains however, I now firmly believe Verizon is selling a lemon of a phone.
I have never dropped or exposed either of my phones to anything that would cause a failure like the one I am experiencing now. I am extremely disappointed in this product.
Oh, and if you call Motorola they will offer to replace your phone for free (you just have to wait 7 to 10 days to get a new phone in the mail AFTER you send your old unit in). OR, you can pay $25.00 and they will provide you a new phone in the mail BEFORE you send the old unit in (they just put a 100.00 hold on your credit card). I should not have to pay a dime to have this defective phone replaced OR have to wait 7 to 10 days.

This is true. My green line started today and if I hit the Verizon logo at the bottom it goes away.
No damage to phone, definitely a screen hardware issue. I've had this phone since 10/30/2015 and this is the first time the green line started.

I did not have to pay anything. Nor should you. The deposit would not bother me but 25 dollars is not mandatory. And yes I had the same problem. Getting replacement in mail next week.

My phone did same thing. Store said it was a glitch since these are so "new" only 2-3 months old and was told they are still trying to work out all the bugs. Has not occurred yet on the replacement droid 2 turbo

My understanding is the green line is a hardware defect and not a software defect. If within the 14 day period go to the store and seek a replacement, otherwise call into support and request a new device. A reset will not change anything.

Received replacement unit and it now has green line after three weeks. Verizon keeps hinting that phone must have been dropped. Given the many complaints posted re this situation I believe it is hardware related. Verizon tech had same problem with his Turbo 2. Receiving third phone tomorrow, hope this is end of problem. BTW, press and hold check mark removes line but returns when check mark released.

Turbo2, working on 4th unit BTW, won't charge or recognize any charger including Turbo charger that came with. Problem started about month ago with intermittent charging. When Turbo charger plugged in would get alert "Use charger that came with phone for faster charging". I was using charger that came with phone. Verizon sending another replacement (fifth counting original). At least it is not dreaded green verticle line on screen this time.
