I have an Original Droid Turbo, and often people can't hear me, even though I can hear them. I also have trouble not getting incoming calls. The other night, someone tried calling me 17 times before it rang through on my phone, despite me having been on the same spot on the couch the whole time. People with other Verizon phones right beside me don't have the problem, so I don't think it's the reception in the area. It's even worse outside my home - where there is no chance people can hear me (but I can call from another Verizon phone without problem). It helps a bit if i go to the top floor. So, it seems to be a reception issue, but only one impacting my phone and not other phones in the house. Thoughts?

Is this something new? Have you checked to see if "VoLTE/Advanced Calling" is turned on or off? If ON, turn it OFF & see if it helps.

I have tried playing with the advanced calling, yes. I have the same problem regardless of the setting of that feature.

AaronWW,
I want you to have a great service experience. Let's look at your phone in more detail. When did this first start for you? Is your phone currently up to date with the latest software?

I first noticed the problem of people not being able to hear me about 8 months ago. But, I assumed it was just a service dead spot in my living room until I started having similar issues in other places, and had other people able to make calls at my home. The problem with phone calls not ringing through at all is new, and started about 2 weeks ago. At least, I assume that's when it started. No one mentioned they had trouble reaching me before that.
I am using Android Version 23.21.44.en.us, and my phone tells me the software is up to date.

Those details are greatly appreciated. Glad to see the device software is up to date. Something that did catch my eye is the mention of their being missed calls and one-way audio issues in multiple locations. While that might suggest reception problems, it's unlikely to be so when it happens on more than one spot, and to only one device used in the same area.
Do you happen to use a Bluetooth wireless audio device with your phone? If so, what is it?

I use Bluetooth sometimes when in my car, connected to the car's Bluetooth system. But, normally Bluetooth is turned off, and I don't connect to anything except the car.

AaronWW, this is most concerning as I want you to always have the best in service with your device. Just to be clear, has there been any damage to the phone, physical or liquid? Are any other functions of your phone having issues as well? Text messages or web browsing?

no damage to the phone, no. Text and web/data are work just fine, both when on wifi and when off wifi. And phone calls work sometimes. But, with me sitting in the same spot, people can go from being able to hear me to not being able to hear me pretty quick.

AaronWW, thanks for those details. These clues really help. Do you currently have network extender at your current location?

AaronWW, let's continue to work on this for you. What is the specific impacted zip code that you're having this trouble in? Do you notice that calls come through better once outdoors? How often do you power off the phone to reset?

Zip code is 03820-9406.
Outdoor calls suffer the same issue. If I'm out on the deck (2nd floor), it's usually ok. It I'm out in the driveway (ground floor), people usually, but not always, can't hear me.
Powering off the phone is not on any set schedule. The phone itself will randomly reset itself. I tend to only reset it once a week.
