On major cellphone webpages it states Verizon rolled out the update as of March 1st. Further confirming that even the Verizon website states we are proud to announce device update for Droid Turbo 2 as of 03/01/2016. Yet all over the Verizon Twitter they have stated no news about the update date has came out yet? There are a lot of furious Droid Turbo 2 owners trying to get marshmallow. All I'm saying is don't post it on your website if it's not yet available to anyone.

I understand rolling out the update slowly via the OTA. What has me really upset is the manual update isn't working.

I've been tweeting with CS all afternoon trying to figure it out. I've even tried using their software upgrade assistant for the PC and it's not working. They say I'm updated even though my software version is different than the updated version, yet they say I'm up to date. I don't get it.

Yeah I understand the frustration, it's like they don't want to give us a legitimate answer of the whole situation, they say we understand you want the update "we do too" it irritates me.

Yeah. I have been checking for the update since midnight on the 29th and tried the PC tool as well. Called CS 3 times and got different answers. One said it might take a MONTH to reach all devices. That's just ridiculous. Android N will be out before as get our first Marshmallow update.
I am VERY disappointed in the handling of this. They started soak tests in December.

The soak test for the final build was only last week. Even if they had a test in December, there must have been issues and/or bugs that forced Motorola to reevaluate the update.

Do you have have anything to back that up? Because every article I've read contradicts what you posted.
Hearing it from your friend of a friend of a friend that works at Verizon doesn't count.

The important bit from this article http://www.droid-life.com/2016/02/29/droid-turbo-2-marshmallow-update-verizon/. "Then on Friday, a number of our readers notified us that they were taking part in a soak test for the update through Motorola’s Feedback Network, which is typically a sign that we are actually close to an update rollout."

Sorry Ann.
Not buying it.
They have been soak testing since December.
You're not getting all the information.

As I said earlier the test could have found issues or bugs in the previous build. Who better to get a test build then the employees?

Regardless of what they found. They have been soak testing since December and some of us still can't get it now in March.
There is no excuse for that.

So you would rather have a buggy broken version of the OS? That's what you would have gotten if they released the version of the build they were testing in December. I want them to get it right when an update is ready for the public.

I'd rather get the update in a timely manner like any other respectable phone. It's not a matter of me getting buggy software. It's the fact that we have had to wait so long AND I HAVE STILL YET TO SEE ANYONE ON HER PAT ABOUT IT ACTUALLY DOWNLOADING. Verizon is full of [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] and letting this drag on far far too long.

Theres also no real excuse of buying a phone for what it will do in the future as opposed to what it does NOW. I've noticed, Apple users don't have that problem.

Yeah, because Apple doesn't let carriers load their phones with bloatware and have a fractured spread of hardware to make the same OS work on.
I don't understand your point?
I shouldn't be upset about unfulfilled commitments for a product I bought?

No, you shouldn't. Things happen; there are delays, and something happened with your phone with a botched update there would be unnecessary threads about that too. People forget that it's just a phone. There are more important things to worry about than a silly upgrade when a phone works just fine.

If you're fine with deceptive marketing and complacency, cool. But don't expect everyone to be passive.
I actually work for my money so I understand value and reasonable expectations.
You did nothing to back up your argument other than share an opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if you worked for Verizon.

And I wouldn't be surprised if you assumed that about everyone's whose opinions in posts are different than yours. And no, I am not a Verizon employee. They are clearly marked by their avatars and signatures.

Dont bother trying to reach them on Twitter. I've been ignored all day. won't acknowledge my questions about the update.
Someone at Verizon needs to get off laurels and make an official announcement about this trainwreck.
I just came back from Sprint because of their poor customer service. Now I'm... I'll just stop before I get ahead of myself.
