Where is Android 6.0 for Turbo 2?

On major cellphone webpages it states Verizon rolled out the update as of March 1st. Further confirming that even the Verizon website states we are proud to announce device update for Droid Turbo 2 as of 03/01/2016. Yet all over the Verizon Twitter they have stated no news about the update date has came out yet? There are a lot of furious Droid Turbo 2 owners trying to get marshmallow. All I'm saying is don't post it on your website if it's not yet available to anyone.

They don't launch the update all at once it goes out a little at a time. Be patient.

And the turbo 2 isn't even on sprint so what device would you have "turned to"?

I had the Nexus 6 which had Marshmallow and similar performance to the DT2 aside from bigger battery and fragile screen.

The Verizon support person I spoke to said Marshmallow for the Droid Turbo 2 was released in waves starting Friday 2/27.

It has now been over a week now so where is the Marshmallow update for the Droid Turbo 2? I tried running system update and the Verizon Software Upgrade Assistance (SUA) and still no Marshmallow update.

This is getting everyone quite upset including myself.

We need an official statement from Verizon ASAP on the status of the Marshmallow update for the Verizon Droid Turbo 2.

This whole Marshmallow release is a total disaster. Is it too hard to communicate with your customers?

A few posts back I asked for an official statement from Verizon ASAP on the status of the Marshmallow update for the Verizon Droid Turbo 2.

So far no no from Verizon has replied. Why have Verizon Forums if you can not get a answer from Verizon?

This is not good customer service. Verizon support where are you?

The Verizon Wireless Community forum is primarily a peer to peer customer forum and not a direct link to Customer Service. The one rep that did reply to this thread gave the only answer they are allowed to give.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I am finding the same thing. It is completely ridiculous that they are ignoring me on Twitter.

POOR customer service 101: Ignore the customer, they will eventually go away.

There are a BUNCH of upset DT2 owners that want an official answer and we just get silence after months of delays.

Looks like we can either wait an unspecified account of time or do it ourselves.

If any of you have Twitter start tweeting @VZWSUPPORT and ask for a timeline. They stopped responding again today when pressed for details.

They won't know how serious we are until we are heard.

The lawyerherald.com  link is wrong.

You can not upload this software with the locked Verizon bootloader. This will only work on a Motorola XForce with a unlocked bootloader.

I asked about the update for DT2 on the Verizon Facebook page, and here is the reply I got. I don't think the rep made the reply public:

We know how important it is to want and have the latest software version for your phone. Software updates are released in waves, so everyone does not receive them at the same time. Typically you can expect to receive the update within 3-4 weeks of the release and you can manually update from the phone's settings after 10 days of the software's release date. Your phone will automatically notify you when the update is ready or you can check the software update option periodically from your phone.

And this has always been the case.

Then this is really poor customer service!

In the past, (Example Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 phone) I have never had to wait this long for a update. Updates were always available using a OTA manual update (not 10 days later) or via the Software Upgrade Assistance (SUA) on the release date.

Come on Verizon, get your act together. You are only upsetting your customers with this I don't care attitude.

That's wrong you know that right? It's called a staggered release and if you were one of the first all the time you have been lucky. There is plenty of information on the Internet about Android staggered releases.

You are missing the point!

A staggered release has always been when Verizon pushes out the update or offers to update to the customer. You could always use a Manual OTA update to get it earlier or use your PC to load the update via USB cable. Verizon's Software Upgrade Assistance (SUA) program is useless since it lies and continues to tell you your phone is up to date.

I have not heard of anyone that has received the Marshmallow update yet. The Verizon Website states 3-1-2016 and a Verizon Customer Service rep told me it actually started on 2-27-2016.

Something is not right, either the Marshmallow update has been delayed or the manual OTA software update and the Verizon's Software Upgrade Assistance (SUA) program are both broken.

Tell us Marshmallow has been delayed or fix the manual OTA software update and the Verizon's Software Upgrade Assistance (SUA) program.

Yea Christmas is coming soon too.

It has been over a week since the Verizon rep said they started the Marshmallow roll out. I do not believe it.

If this is the truth, than when I hit the check for System Updates or use the Verizon's Software Upgrade Assistance (SUA) program I should see a Marshmallow update available.

Cheers mate. Not everyone who owns a Turbo 2 will be on these forums. This is the same thing people were saying about other devices while it was rolling out. Relax you'll get it.

Rbird2, we apologize for the delay in you receiving the update. Tidbits, is correct in reference to staggered release dates. There is no way to give anyone an exact date as of when it will hit their phone. To add to that, the Droid Turbo 2 release has been put on hold for more testing. There is no exact date available as to when this will continue. We ask for your continued patience as this is being worked on diligently.Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for the first real answer we Droid Turbo 2 have gotten in many days...

Please update the following Verizon webpages to include the the information that the Droid Turbo 2 release has been put on hold for more testing. Once you know a release date, please update the date.

Advanced Devices Software Updates | Verizon Wireless

DROID TURBO 2 Software Update | Verizon Wireless

The above webpage information is all customers have to go on. If it is not correct or updated to include the latest information, there is mass confusion and frustration of your customers.

We figured there was a problem because no one was receiving updates but no one at Verizon would admit it.

Again, Thank You for being honest with us.
