I've always been able to plug my phone into my computer to access photos, etc. Suddenly my phone is not recognized on my computer or my laptop....it says usb malfunction...not recognizable. I haven't done anything different to my phone or either of my computers. I am using the same cable and we've tried another cable as well as my laptop.

Hello flowergardener,
We are committed to getting you connected to your computer with your Droid Razr Maxx! Let's partner together and get this resolved once and for all. Have you tried the steps that SoccerRef12 gave? Thanks SoccerRef12. Also, check to ensure that there isn't any device driver conflicts or anti-virus software that may be blocking the connection. Once you have checked these areas, please reply with your findings.
Thank you...

Have you ensured it is listed as a Mass Storage Device when you connect the USB cable? Do you have the latest Motorola drivers loaded on your computer. Did you accept the Jan 10 OS update? Those are the things that come to mind.
