I bought the Droid Razr MAXX about six months ago and have had little problems with it since about 3 weeks ago. All of the sudden my phone decides to not read my sim card. I turned the phone off and took the sim card out and put in back in. Then it finally read it and worked for a week/week and a half. Then it did it again about two days ago and I did the same thing and it didn't work so I left it sit for about 3 1/2 hours and tried it again and it worked. Well today I turned my phone off and when I turned it back on it wouldn't read it. Please help.... I've also tried the Down Volume/Power and it didn't work.

You may need a new SIM card. Go to a Verizon Corporate store, not a Verizon third party retailer, and get a new SIM card. To find a Corporate Store open:
https://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/storelocator/index.jsp
and put in your zip code. Only look at the "Verizon Wireless Stores" tab and not the "All Stores". SIM cards are free at Verizon Corporate Stores, most (all?) Verizon Retailers charge for them.
If that does not work and a Factory Reset does not fix your problem, then you may have to get a reconditioned replacement under warranty from Verizon.

Yeah, I was planning on taking it in tomorrow, but decided to ask on here in case someone else knew what to do. Oh well, I guess I'll still go.
