Xoom Signal on WiFi always half or less at hotels

I stay in the same hotel every week for work. My iPhone 3GS gets on the network and says there is great signal all over my room. My laptop says the wireless network signal is great all over the room, but the Xoom frequently had half signal or less. However I am noticing that seems to be the case in each hotel. I stayed in a Hilton a few weeks ago and my Xoom signal was only half to 1bar all the time while my laptop and iPhone had good signal.


Further my Xoom seems to be having a crazy time with getting mobile broadband signal no matter where I use now. One moment it is all bars and the next moments there's nothing, nada, zilch. Then there will be 1x and then then back to 3G but only 1 to 2 bars.


Is something wrong with my Xoom?

I understand how important it is to have a solid signal on your XOOM.

Are you using the WiFi signal on the XOOM? Are you having problems accessing the browser? What error message do you get and has it always been this way since  you got the XOOM?
