anyone expierencing sync problems with their contacts?

i'm getting a 'sync is currently expierencing problems, it will be back later' when my contacts sync
i looked it up and i've tried every fix i came accross...more noteably the following
go to airplane mode
force stop contacts and contact storage app service
clear data for both and cache
reboot phone
still doesnt sync? the last time anything updated for me was when i bought the phone
anyone else running into this issue?

eglass80 Let's check into this error! I know the importance of having access to Sync options. Where are the contacts trying to sync to - your Google account or Verizon Backup Assistant/ Cloud? Is this happening when connected to Wifi or our Mobile Data network?
