i want to transfer my calender dates from my phone to my laptop, and any files in quick office.

Calendar dates can be synced from one to the other. Check to see if your sync selection is on. As for transferring any other data, there are several ways. You can put your SD card into the card reader of your laptop and drag and drop, or you can use Cloud. I usually just connect the two using the supplied USB cord and drag and drop.

The USB cable is the easiest way to transfer files, such as documents and pictures, between the two devices. As for the calendar, appointments made in Google Calendar on the phone can automatically sync so that they are both on the phone, on the computer, and accessible from anywhere you can sign into Google.

Connect phone to computer via usb and mount as disk drive. Search your files then copy and paste just as on your pc.
