My phone says contact list is being updated and it won't let me make phone calls as well. I got a new phone and it just started having the same problem.
Being able to make calls is the primary purpose of a phone, Jscholz. Let's ensure you get this ability back. What make and model phone do you have? What was being used on the phone when it started downloading contacts?
