Easiest way I have found to manage contacts is to sync them with a Google account and then manage them on a PC. 
does anyone know how I can export all of my contacts from my Droid Razr Maxx?
I'd like to export them and clear out the old ones and duplicated ones.
Use Google to back up and manage your contacts is the easiest way that I have found. Just log in to Google on a PC and you can then manage them and it will automatically sync them to your device. Do not use VZW Backup Assistant...I have never been able to get that to work correctly. Hope this helps.
To export contacts:
1. go to "people"
2. Select menu
3. Select import/export contacts
