I have 2 contacts listed for each person in my phone book, a backup assistant plus contact and a google contact. I see that I can join them so only one shows up on the phone list. Or I can change the settings from "show all contacts" to show only one of them, or custom. I do not know the advantage of joining or showing only one, or if both lists will continue to be updated. Any suggestions on which I should do?

I just joined mine. Some I had just phone numbers, some had numbers and email addresses, etc. Joining will combine the two and might help.
