my phone screen freezes up every time i tried to answer the phone?

when it rings it freeze up and I cannot answer it while my phone is ringing.

When did this issue begin? Were any recent updates or applications downloaded on your device when this issue began? Have you attempted to reboot the device? Does this happen on all or certain calls?
