Why is the network provided time for automatic time setting on my droid razor 15 secs.(approx) ahead of the actual correct internet/network time; when the time on my previous phone which was a lg spectrum was always correct to the second?; Someone out there must know something about this and why when i set the razr to manual and set it correctly; it stays there but when i switch back to automatic; its always 15 or so seconds ahead of the correct time? and what can be done to fix this? And is this a software issue, a hardware issue, or both? because this is driving me nuts not having a phone that while set to automatic time wont show it correctly.

What is so important that 16 seconds matter? Not like you are launching a rocket using the clock.

Seriously, if you gotta have that kind of precision, you need something besides a phone. Bottom line - it's a phone first and foremost.

My thoughts as Well i use Swiss Watch Book App and it Has a Number of Watches that you can Choose from and between them and my Maxx they're 19 seconds faster than even our Cable Digital Box but i'm to worried.!  Just don't call me late for Dinner b33

While some of the replies to the original post may be amusing, the question is reasonable and, asssuming Verozon actually monitors these forums, it deserves an answer. We also have a Droid Razr Maxx and a Thunderbolt. While trying to get a Beautiful Widget to operate properly on the Razr Maxx after a rather calamitous update, I noticed the discrepancy also. The Thunderbolt time, against a radio wave update device was accurate and the Razr Maxx turned over about 15 seconds earlier. Since, they're both using Verizon's network, it seems rather strange.

The sky won't fall although we might still go over the fiscal cliff and it would be interesting to know.
