I have a Droid Maxx. I use no third party messaging application. It keeps giving my a message that it stopped working. I have to constantly clear the cache and data for the message program to get it to work. I have tried disabling hangouts (which I did not have enabled for SMS messages). Now, I have a permanent one counter on my message icon even when I enable hangouts again (again without enabling text messages on it).
I am getting very tried of having to clear my message cache and data at least five times a day.

@Tearandrille,
I totally understand how inconvenient and frustrating it is to keep having to clear the cache and data for the messaging app. We are aware of the issue and working diligently on a resolution. Once available a fix will be included with an upcoming update. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

When do plan on fixing this issue. In the next Century??? If you can't fix it then issue us a different phone. I am not paying $600 for a piece of crap that keeps failing. Also having problems receiving text messages!!!
