Apple music not working

I have apple music included with my Verizon plan. I downloaded the app but every time I try to use the app, all I see is a red screen with the apple music logo. No way to log in. I'm getting nowhere with this.

Hello! We definitely don't want you have any issues with receiving your Apple Music subscription. Do you use an iPhone, or an Android phone? *Bryan
