My father is the account manager on our business plan. He is in the hospital and is terminally ill. I want to establish my own account and move my number to it. However, nobody knows the PIN, and I can't really communicate with him.
I'm concerned that when he dies, I will need to change my phone # and jump through a lot of hoops (I have much bigger worries). What can I do?

JMS999,
We are definitely sorry to hear aobut your father's condition and our thoughts are with him, you and your family. In regard to the concerns you have, appropriate documents including power of attorney, executor control, etc. can be provided to a store representative to assume control of an account/line or terminate lines if necessary.

If he is just the account manager, who is the account owner? Could you actually mean he is the account owner and the only one who is authorized to make changes to the account?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
