Can I use the Verizon Cloud as a regular hard drive?

I've spent quite some time trying to figure out the usage of the VZ cloud. So far the progress is minimal. I can not find a usable application to this service. I have a VZ Fios plan and no VZ mobile service
- On the Windows machine I can not find a way to see the Verizon Cloud service other than in the File Explorer. No command line access, no drive mapping capabilities, no external application access, etc.
- The VZ Cloud app is capable of backing up only the content of C:\Users\XXXX folder, and no way to access any other location of the computer.
- No access to file management via the Web site. The
Add-ons & appsVerizon Cloud option is not available under the Account menu.
Can you please tell me if there is a way to backup files to the cloud besides the Windows app?

What is even more surprising is that all files I copy directly to the Verizon Cloud folder in the Windows Explorer silently disappear after I restart my PC,
