Fios TV Mobile App - Cannot Manage DVR outside of the Home

I have recently moved into a new apartment with upgraded Fios TV and Internet. When I connect the Fios TV Mobile app to the home router I can manage my DVR from the app and it shows me all the recorded content and scheduled recordings. However as soon as I leave my apt. and am away from the router i get an error message for the My DVR screen on the app that says "Error Loading. Content unavailable. Please Try Again." This is happening on an Android and on an iOS device. I have deleted the apps several times and then connected at home again which works but then as soon as I leave my home and the router again I cannot manage my DVR outside of the home as it shows no content and the error message. I should be able to manage recordings (not watch them I know) outside of my home but the apps do not let this happen. Does anyone have a solution to this? I have no other routers in the home - just the Fios equipment. Thanks

Try deleting the devices from the home, then add them back at home on the home network. Remember you can only have 2 registered devices at a time. I know support is working on some issues with the app, this may be one of them.

Thank you A few new pieces of info
1) In the last 24 hours I have someone tricked the app to show me what is on the DVR - but only if I leave the app running after I connect at home. But that is not tenable and it will not allow me to delete a show or record a new one - then I get message that the action failed
2) I did try deleting the devices and re-registering but it did not help
3) The app says I can gave 5 registered devices (right now it says "Registered Devices 2/5"
4) There is a web page with My DVR on the Fios site but it does not work for me either

Also I got a message you can only register and unregister a device twice in a one year period so now one of my devices is locked out
