The new Fios TV app (iOS) lost a function! I stream live tv in home on my iPad a lot while working on my house. The previous app used to allow the same function of pausing, rewinding and fast forwarding live tv IF connected to my DVR and IF that box was on the same channel. The new app will pause briefly, but no REW/FF. I am angry!
I had this problem too, I went on the app and rebooted the set top box, it worked! Good luck it is so frustrating when things don’t work!
I wish that worked for me! I have spent a bunch of time trying to get Verizon to understand and fix it. Not getting anywhere.
They said to submit a ticket in the app…you can’t! So I submitted “general feedback” and that opened a ticket!? No response to the ticket 10 days later.
I have been considering cutting the cord. This loss of key in-home functionality of rew/ff of live tv might put me over the edge to ditch FIOS TV.

Go here and post the problem, they'll get back to you relatively quickly.
