Hi! I just had my FIOS service upgraded which included the installation of a CB1000B router. When I go into the MyFIOS app, I see the warning "A device using an older Wi-Fi standard (802.11a, b, g, b/g) is slowing down other devices on the network. We recommend turning the Wi-Fi off on this device or turning the device off." I believe the devices referenced are two Canon printers and my garage door opener.
My question is... Is this a real problem and, if so, what should I do about it. Obviously, I do not want to turn Wi-Fi off on my printers.
Thanks in advance,
...Jerry

It does slow down other wireless devices if the devices at question are too ancient.
You can try to enable the IoT AP and connect the ancient devices to that.

Thanks so much. I enabled my IoT network and connected the offending devices to that network. Warning message has gone away.
