Router won’t save password.

So I just got Verizon 1gb internet today and I tried to update the SSID on their router  which  worked and password which wouldn’t save. I’ve tried it on the app and my Verizon but it just keeps defaulting back to the original password. I can’t log into the router any other way as it says connection not secure and doesn’t allow me to accept the risk and move on. I’ve looked online and cannot find a solution I’ve never had this issue with any other router before.

Try accessing the router through https://myfiosgateway.com instead. That should help get around the SSL warning. Otherwise, try Firefox.
