My daughter recently installed the my fios App on her IPAD Mini so she can watch TV, On-demand, etc. When she puts her sub-account logon credentials we get an error message to have parent enable. I can logon with my credentials and it works fine so I know the App is install correctly...
So where am I supposed to enable this for her account? I don't see that option on the App. I did allow her access via the my.verizon.com site and her access still doesn't work. Anyone ever get this to work on IPAD with sub account?
Here is error message on IPAD Mini
here is allowing her account to have access:
Help!!!!
Thanks, Jim

There are no additional optons when you click the link that would pertain to access TV Online.
Actually therre are. The parental controls and the Flex View settings are pertinent.

Log in at verizon.
Select TV & Movies link
On this page you will find Settings. Parental controls are listed as an option there.

Thanks but that still doesn't fix the issue.

Boy, this is so difficult... The menus you have to sift through... No wonder people get so frustrated.
I set up parental controls, though I have no idea why that would matter and I don't see anything related to flex view.
I could understand not being able to watch flex view but I can't logon to the app with the sub account. It says tell a parent to enable. It is enabled.....

PJL, I called TS and they had no idea. Even they said it's enabled it should work. While TS did some research I dug a bit deeper into your comments and find some options that need to be enabled. Not under Accounts & Services but under TV & Movies are there settings and from there Manage Sub-Accounts can you activate this account under parental control settings. It makes no sense where this is located. I mean my wife wants no parental controls yet I have to enable it for her account too....
Anyway thanks for the post, it's working.

It would seem thst if you do nothing about parential controls then the system is locked down. In a strange way this makes sense to protect a child from content by default if no affirmitive action to enable the content is taken.
Glad it's working.

I agree and get where you are coming. The way to get to it is very difficult and not intuitive at all. Also be aware that it appears you cannot disable parental controls once you enable it. In the screen shot below look at he second sub account and see there is a box to "activate this account". I have not activated it on that account but on the first sub account you see that option is gone. Once you enable it indicating you cannot disable it once activated.

... a comment that applies to many areas of the MyFiOS web site, unfortunately.
