How can everything google and samsung  and everything else be put back on my phone? Don't say go to google play because it is not working too. Classic 66

Hi there Classic66,

I'm very sorry to hear about all of the complications that occurred with your update. We definitely want your experience to improve any time you get an update, not get worse. The first thing you'll want to confirm is that there are no other updates available. For many phones, the lollipop update is a two-part update. To make sure that all available updates have been completed, please go into Settings and view the System updates option, which will be at the bottom.

If you have already completed all available updates, please check to make sure that some of the apps and services have not just been repackaged or put into groups in your apps list. If you do not see anything like that, please let us know and we'll be happy to give you some more advanced troubleshooting steps like OS repair. Keep us posted. Thanks.

I have the same problem...re-booted multiple times, took battery out a few times, and cleared cache three different ways. Nothing has helped so far, getting frustrated as this affects my job as well as personal activities. HELP

cool63,

We want to make sure you have an awesome working phone. That's crucial. I'm confident we can resolve this. Have you checked the Play Store to make sure all of your apps are up to date? Can you try the phone in safe mode for a few hours http://vz.to/1bPHDbr and see if it runs any better?

Not sure this will help, but I had to reboot another 2 times for things to reconfirm to what was loaded on my phone.

It may have been part of the update or I may have been impatient but all my apps and settings returned after the obligatory 3rd reboot.
