My data and messaging is showing up as zero even though I know there have been texts sent and received and data has been used. Sometimes if I log out and log back in to the myverizon website some data and usage shows but if I click details it says no details are available at this time. I am the primary account holder and should be able to see all data and text usage. Has this been happening to others?
Thanks.

Yes!!! I’ve only been with Verizon since 10/7/23 and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. I’ve contacted Verizon on numerous occasions for this and the only thing they say to me is they can not tell me how the data is being used. That’s not what I needed to know. I’d love if just once we could contact Verizon and get an actual answer.

coepercussion, thanks for sharing you were having a few issues trying to view usage in My Verizon. I've got a link to one of our resource pages that outlines how to view various types of usage with the steps: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-205730/
Please just make sure you're following those paths, to view usage on the account. Additionally, it does take a little bit for usage to log with the My VZ reporting. It's not real time so some usage may be delayed. Also, the type of messaging you're trying to view does matter as well. Messages sent via iMessage do not make use of the SMS network but internet/data connections, and is Apple's system. Thus anything sent via iMessage does not show in message use, same for other internet based messaging apps. The log will show dates, times, To and From numbers, and if the message was received and type. It does not show content.
If you're having any trouble viewing activity, I highly recommend clearing cache and cookies if using a browser, and doing a fresh login to My VZ as well.

John, thank you for your information. I’ve been shown and told a few ways to view the information and none have helped. I did read the info you provided in the link. However, under the to view ‘unbilled data’, step #4 (last step tap ‘usage details’ in the lower-right . The only thing in the lower-right is the Verizon virtual assistant. There is no International usage, no bonus, carryover, gifted, etc….usage. Under history I can view the last months history but I need somewhat current information.
I understand that usage is not real time, I’m unable to see anytime. I’m aware that iMessages do not show as message use. I also do not need any content, just the basics (time, date, to, from and number). The usage I’ve been occasionally able to see does not show if message was received or type.
I have cleared my cache and cookies numerous times. I have also contacted Verizon several times and have been told to ‘just wait it out’. That a ticket had been started and to give it 3-5 business days. Yet no resolution or answer.
Just a little research online and I found this is a very long standing problem.
It’s not just messages and data logs, I’m unable to see call logs
I have been a Verizon post-pay customer since 10/07/2023 (66 days) and this happens 2-3 times a week.
Why is this so important? I use a print out of the call and message logs and on occasion data use for my customer billing, which is done weekly. I’ve none been unable to see any of this information for 6 days. No billing=No money. If this were the only issue I’ve had with Verizon in 66 days I think I’d be a little more patient.
Again, I do thank you for taking the time to try and assist me.
