I use my phone for 2-step verification with various services.
Siging up to "Verizion Messaging" I was expecting to see the verification messages in the app or online, but I don't.
I'm able to send and receive SMS to/from regular phone numbers, but verification codes only come to the phone.
Is this intentional? How can I fix this?

So what you're saying is that some messages are not delivered to the "Messages" app on purpose. Can you clarify which ones? Is there a black list somewhere?
Within the past two weeks my cell service has not been getting security code from my bank's 2-step login, what has changed with the service? My bank is pointing to my cell service provider, Verizon.
