I signed up for Verizon Fios in July 2020 and there was a promotion running to receive a $200 gift card upon sign up. After signing up I did see that you had to log on to My Verizon and register for the cards which I did. A month passed and I didn’t receive anything. I was unable to click on the link provided on My Verizon to check status. It would either say “page cannot be found” or would just not load. I called customer service and they said nether card had been registered but would over the phone for me. After several calls I did receive one $100 card in the mail 30 days later. The second card I have still not received. I have called customer service 4 times and each time there was no record of me ever calling. Every time I call they say it will be another week until it will be mailed. Last time I called which was Friday 11/6/20 I was told the card was actually an e-card and would be sent to me by Wednesday 11/11/20 which is today to my email. The rep verified my email and told me to check spam which I did. It never arrived. I believe that Verizon is making this process difficult intentionally so that people will not receive the promotion. I think this is a scam and I have wasted several hours of my life chasing down this promotion. God forbid Verizon just simply credit my account the $100 I am owed and call it even.
