'Account has been deactivated' calls. Phishing?
RagingBookaholic
An automated message on my answering machine informs me that my verizon account has been deactivated, and lists reactivation options. My account has not been deactivated. It appears that the call, oddly, came from 800.922.0204.
I've already attempted to contact a human at Verizon and report the incident. Consider this my official report.

Message received.
Typically the individual or company placing these calls will move on to another number after a short period of time. As long as service is working and no account information was shared with the spoofer, then you are in the clear.

Verizon already knew about this issue awhile now. Use the call filter app.
