I purchased an unlocked Verizon and I am trying to activate it from Saudi Arabia local carrier (STC) but I am unable to do that. The model is SM-p905V and is supposedly unlocked. I talked to samsung support and they advised me to contact Verizon directly.
The phone is unlocked, but it is up to your local carrier to support the phone on their network. Could be your phone does not support all bands and frequencies that your local carrier uses.
No, it does actually supports the bands my carrier use.
I think it has something to do with APN configuration, or maybe using a Verizon sim card?
