Adding data and changing plans

I can only adds funds to my account. When trying to add data or change plans there's a message saying phone and sim are not paired. I try to pair them and get a message saying the phone is paired to another account. I didn't have this problem when I bought the phone and paired it with the same sim card that is in it now

How exactly are you trying to add funds/change plan?
