I want my jetpack device removed from my bill. I do Mr need it anymore. About 6 months ago I contacted customer support and ask for the jetpack to be disconnected from my bill. The person at customer support talked me into postponing the charge for the device for a while, then see how I felt. They have charged me 20 dollars each month for something I do not need! I don't understand why they will not do as I ask? I want the device off!

OK, in that case, just cancel the line of service for the jetpack. Of course, they are going to try and keep you on board, but just keep saying no, I want or need to cancel this service.
Be aware that there may be an ETF charge added to your bill, dependent on how the device was purchased and added to your account, and how long ago that was. If it was purchased on a device payment plan, you are still obligated to pay for the device itself, but not the service. If you paid a discounted fee and are under a contract, there will be an ETF if the contract term has not been fulfilled.
That being said, if you want to cancel the device, be firm, don't let them talk you into keeping it if you don't want it, and just tell them to cancel it.
Thank you. The device was purchased for Wi-Fi at my mom's house 6yrs.ago. Completely paid for. Since she joined God in heaven 3 yrs ago, it has not been used. I will keep trying.

Thebeast237, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know that had to be hard for you to deal with. Have you tried out letting a friend or family take over your Jetpack line? That would really save you any hassle, and it's very easy for us to transfer the line.

Canceling the line instead of trying to find and convince someone to take over the line seems like WAY less hassle. Verizon loses a line of service but keeps a less frustrated customer.
