I was talking to an Agent but our chat ended due to some technical issue, so I am following up.
We have been loyal Verizon customers for 20 years and all three of my family has Verizon cell service so I would like to know if my phone line by itself could be qualified to receive a discounted rate for being totally and permanently disabled or for being a 20 year customer.
Thank you for your response in advnace!
Thank you for being a loyal customer. We would like to explore any possible options for discounts. Let's see what's available right now. Please send us a Private Note for assistance.
I'll be blunt. Verizon doesn't do discounts based off of social situations or purely because you been given them money for decades. Reps do not have the ability to create discounts. Discounts that can appear per line often have a 1 year contract obligation so the discount is only temporary.
When a rep gives a "let me see" type of response, they are checking if your account has either a temporary line access discount or plan not offered to the general public. If nothing is there, there isn't anything that can be done. The only true way to save on your bill are qualifying employee discounts and autopay discounts on qualifying plans.
Have you considered prepay?
