Autopay over charging

  • Has anyone else been experiencing this issue? Verizon over charged me on my bill so they gave me a $5 credit. My Verizon  showed the lower bill and I also received a text message stating they gave me a credit and what my new bill was. However, low and behold after Autopay drafted the amount of the lower bill. Verizon then said I was late on $5 and added a late fee to my next bill. How shady is that? I called customer service and they didn't want to fix it. One lady said that my credit wouldn't show up for a few months so my bill never changed, even though I told her I had screenshots of the bill changing and my bank statement shows that they took the amount from the lower bill. Verizon has horrible service and horrible customer service. I can't wait until my contract is up.

This is concerning to read. We certainly don't want to see you go. Did the autopay draft the exact balance on the account?
